We are required to keep a record of transaction details for up to 6 years for tax and accounts purposes.

When making an order online and paying by credit/debit card your information will be stored on a third party secure server provided by Opayo/Klarna who are our online credit and debit card payment processor. Opayo use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details so that your credit or debit card details cannot be read as they travel over the Internet. Opayo only make available to Tech Tech Trading part of the card details that is enough for Tech Tech Trading to choose to accept or decline an order. Tech Tech Trading will not be provided with the a full customer card number, only the last 4 digits will be provided for verification purposes. Your credit / debit card information is held in the Opayo secure server area for 31 days in which time Tech Tech Trading must accept payment and process your order or the payment will become void and be indicated as declined on the Opayo system and no longer available to process. Details of all online transactions will be held for up to 5 years for tax and accounts purposes.

To prevent unauthorised access and use of your information, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of your information, as required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998. Your credit card information can only be exchanged between you and us.

ONCE YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED AND DESPATCHED WE WILL DISTROY ALL CARD DETAILS BAR THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR CARD WHICH ARE SAVED ON FILE WITH YOUR ORDER FOR CROSS REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY.

If a product offered by Tech Tech Trading LTD itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition.

DIGITAL RECEIVER FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE

Tech Tech Trading LTD supply all digital receivers pre-installed with the manufacturers default firmware unless stated otherwise. This in most cases will be for use as FTA (free to air) reception only. We do not offer support for any third party software/firmware or patches unless we have specifically stated otherwise and in some cases the loading/patching of software/firmware may void your warranty. Your warranty covers the actual receiver hardware only, this does not extend to setup and installation of the equipment though we may at our discretion extend this to provide support for use with FTA reception but strictly only where the provider permits for connection to their network. This includes all digital receivers we supply unless we have specifically stated otherwise.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS / RETURNS

Items arriving to the customer in a faulty condition or where the customer no longer requires the item(s) and wishes to return their product will be accepted for return providing we are notified in writing within 14 days of arrival. Items over 14 days of arrival or items which are custom made and/or a one off special order will not be considered for return. Where a product is faulty it will either be exchanged or refunded in full (at the buyers choice) within 14 days of the item arriving back with Tech Tech Trading LTD and being confirmed as a genuine hardware fault.

In all cases you (the customer) will be responsible for the return delivery costs of any un-wanted goods/cancelled orders. If goods are faulty Tech Tech Trading LTD will generally arrange carrier collection which requires that the buyer make themselves reasonably available to allow a carrier to collect. Customers outside the UK will be responsible for their own return delivery costs and shipping charges paid when order was created will not be refunded for returned unwanted goods.

Items returned for refund where the customer has simply changed their mind may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee if the item is in any way no longer to be considered as new and/or been subject to what constitutes reasonable use in terms of allowing inspection as would be allowed should the item be viewed and demonstrated ‘in store’.

In the case of all items being returned (faulty/refund/exchange) in the first instance the customer should contact Tech Tech Trading LTD by using any of the methods on our ‘Contact Us‘ page providing full purchase details, RMA (return merchandise authorisation) number along with return instructions will then be emailed. Once RMA instructions have been issued you (the customer) will have 14 days in which to return un-wanted/cancelled orders. All returns received without first providing a emailed / written returns request will be refused.

We cannot cancel your purchase when:

  • You return your product without proof of purchase
  • There is a contract for services with the product and you have started using the services (e.g. pre paid smart cards or cams)
  • The warranty seal has been broken on any item
  • The goods were a special order built to your specification.
  • If any illegal software / firmware / patches are found to been loaded to the receiver.
  • Your order is a pre-order as this is treated as a deposit for goods therefore non-refundable.
  • The goods have been used beyond what would be considered reasonable use for inspection.

FAULTY PRODUCT RETURNS (after first 14 days of arrival but within warranty period)

All items on this website carry a full 12 month RTB (return to base warranty) unless stated otherwise. The customer is responsible for the return delivery costs however we may also offer to refund this cost in some circumstances. Tech Tech Trading LTD will be responsible for any return delivery costs to the customer of a replacement and/or repaired product. All products will be repaired or replaced whenever possible, or a refund minus our shipping and handling costs or alternative product will be offered where repair or replacement is not available within a reasonable time. Faulty items returned for repair or exchange, where no fault can be found will be charged a return shipping and handling fee, generally be approx £10 for UK and approx £25.00 for European customers, exact fee will be confirmed. All returns IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES must be authorised for return by Tech Tech Trading LTD prior to returning. ANY returns received without first obtaining authorisation may be refused and/or subject to return delivery costs where applicable. In the cases of any items being suspected of having a hardware fault in the first instance the customer should contact Tech Tech Trading LTD by using any of the methods on our ‘Contact Us‘ page providing full purchase details, RMA (return merchandise authorisation) number along with return instructions will then be emailed. Once RMA instructions have been issued you (the customer) will have 7 days in which to return un-wanted/cancelled orders. All returns received without first providing a emailed/written returns request may be refused and/or subject to return delivery costs where applicable.

SPECIFICATIONS

Technical data, dimensions, weights, etc. are given as a general guide rule only, no guarantee is given or implied that the goods will conform in absolute detail to the descriptions and illustrations. Tech Tech Trading LTD reserves the right to amend the specifications and to withdraw goods from sale without prior notice.

SUITABILITY

Other than those expressly stated Tech Tech Trading LTD makes no representations as to the fitness or suitability of any goods for any purpose whatsoever.

12* MONTHS HARDWARE GUARANTEE

In addition to all benefits conferred on the buyer by statute Tech Tech Trading LTD guarantees all goods offered for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, provided that: (a) it is established to the reasonable satisfaction of Tech Tech Trading LTD that some part of the hardware used in the manufacture was defective, and the goods have been returned to seller, and (b) the goods have not been subject to misuse, damage or abuse of any kind.

Warranty support is provided by Tech Tech Trading LTD to the original purchaser of the goods only. We do not provide a transferable warranty to a third party except in exceptional circumstances and consideration to grant such permission will only be considered by written request.

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If we are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. INSPECTION OF GOODS ON DELIVERY

In the respect of suspected damage in transit we may request photos of the physical damage as well as pictures of the packaging the parcel arrived in.
